Terms of Ocean Container Transport (OCT)

DOOR (Door-to-Door Delivery)

This shipping term at origin/destination means that the freight forwarder is responsible for organizing transportation from/to the shipper’s or consignee’s door/warehouse. The freight cost includes services from/to the door/warehouse of the shipper or consignee.

LI (Liner In)
Indicates that the cost of receiving/handling cargo at the container terminal and loading it onto the vessel is included in the freight rate.

LO (Liner Out)
Means that the cost of unloading from the vessel and receiving/handling the cargo at the container terminal at the destination is included in the freight rate.

FO (Free Out)
A destination term indicating that the cost of discharging the cargo from the vessel is not included in the freight rate.

FI (Free In)
An origin term indicating that the cost of loading the cargo onto the vessel is not included in the freight rate.
